At Tweet Drive Foundation

Tweet Drive Foundation is dedicated to providing joyful experiences throughout the year to children in need. By partnering with local charities in our established communities, we are able to help inspire those around us to “give back” during the holiday season and deliver happiness all year long for underprivileged children or children who are hospitalized.

Originally established in 2010 as an annual toy drive called “Tweet Drive” in Houston, TX, this event received an overwhelming amount of support from individuals and businesses in the community. Today, the Tweet Drive Foundation is an established 501(c)(3) with a focus on helping underprivileged or hospitalized children by sparking joyful memories and changing even small moments into positive experiences.

We help create opportunities for those in local communities, as well as nationwide, to support children through their own spirit of giving. We believe that every moment is full of life-changing possibilities, and that all of us can do a little to have a big impact in the lives of kids of all ages.

Over the last ten years, our foundation has grown because of support from our local communities, partners and sponsors. We can help change the lives of children, together, and look to continue to find new outlets for opportunities to bring smiles, hope and happiness to children.

Helping Children and Local Charities since 2010

Tweet Drive Foundation has partnered with local charities in our four core cities (Houston, Dallas, Denver and Atlanta) to give back to underprivileged or hospitalized children. Together, we have donated over 6,000 toys and “happy moments” over the last ten years. Our impact has helped a variety of charities, including:

Child Advocates, Houston

Child Advocates mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse. They speak up for abused children who are lost in the system and guide them into safe environments where they can thrive.

Legacy Community Health, Houston

Legacy believes that comprehensive health care is a human right. Legacy’s services and programs are open to all who need them, regardless of the ability to pay, without judgment or exception.

Snowdrop Foundation, Houston

Snowdrop Foundation provides scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors while raising awareness and funding for continued research to cure childhood cancer.

Educational and Emotional Benefits of Providing Toys to Children

Across America, innumerous amount of children are in difficult circumstances through no fault of their own. These unfortunate situations stimulate fears, doubts and feelings of uncertainty in a child’s life. Helping to create positive moments and experiences through the power of giving can change even the most challenging moment’s a child might experience into a feeling of hope and happiness.

By providing toys to kids, you are empowering them with so much more than a “simple gift.” Toys provide opportunities for children to learn, spark imaginations, engage with their senses, encourage them to interact with others, and in the most challenging situations, can provide them with a sense of comfort and stability.
